From the very moment you enquire, your wedding cake experience will be seamless (and delicious) from start to finish. The booking process is thoughtfully crafted so every element effortlessly entwines with your love story, your wedding cake will be the perfect reflection of who you both are.

All you need to do to begin your journey is pop across an enquiry with a few details about your upcoming wedding (including the date, location and approximate guest count). I’ll check my availability and will pop across a guide price, along with some questions about your potential wedding cake design. From your colour palette to flavour preferences, include your visions for how you see your day unfolding. It’s those all-important finer details that make up the layers of your wedding cake. If you want to share any Pinterest boards or images with me, you can share them at beckie@beckiechapmancakes.com.

If you’ve fallen in love with the flavours, I ask my couples to pay a non-refundable ‘Save the Date’ booking fee of £100, which will be taken off the final balance once the cake design has been officially confirmed.

You are also more than welcome to book a complimentary discovery call to discuss your ideas in more detail before paying the ‘Save the Date’.

exclusive consultation

This is your opportunity to meet with me (virtually or in-person at my home studio) to discuss your wedding cake experience, where you can ask any questions you may have or to simply find out more. All you need to bring are yourselves and an appetite – as you’ll be tucking into some of my most-adored wedding cake flavours! It is also useful to bring along any images for inspiration, your wedding stationery, colour schemes or Pinterest boards that will help create the design of your wedding cake.

I’ll take the time to nurture your ideas, your personalities and your style to whip up a bespoke proposal and a sketch design that is totally tailored to you. This will outline all the details discussed, the total balance of your wedding cake and any extra details you may need. From design inspiration to pricing, my proposal brings you one step closer to the wedding cake of your dreams, where you have been a part of the design process from the very beginning.

Appointments are generally held between October – April, timescales permitting. If a date outside these months is required, I will offer you a zoom consultation due to time limitations of a busy wedding season. Please note, the consultation is for a maximum of 2 people. Should you wish to have a virtual consultation, I’ll pop a delicious cake sample box in the post ahead of your consultation date.

the lead-up to your wedding day

If you have any questions in the count down to the big day – you are always welcome to get in touch! Six to eight weeks prior to your wedding date, the full balance is required and designs / flavours cannot be altered. I will liaise with your wedding venue to arrange the logistics. All you need to do is sit back, relax and look forward to cutting your wedding cake!

I’ll spend the week before your wedding day preparing the decorations, baking the cake and ensuring everything is utterly perfect. As part of my service, I’ll deliver and set-up your wedding cake on the day, ensuring everything is displayed in the most beautiful way. Ready for you and your loved ones to enjoy!

If you have any wedding cake left over, you can cut it, portion it and freeze it! So, whenever you have an urge to tuck into your wedding cake, you can.
